Copyright and Takedown Policy
How rights holders can report allegedly infringing user content and how PhotoStrip Studio handles credible notices.
1. Respect for rights
PhotoStrip Studio respects copyright, trade marks, privacy and other rights. Users must upload only material they are authorised to use. This policy concerns user-provided content; it does not grant permission to copy PhotoStrip Studio templates or assets.
2. Sending a notice
A rights holder or authorised representative may send a notice to hello@photostripstudio.com containing:
- Your full name, organisation, contact details and authority to act.
- A clear identification of the protected work, mark or other right.
- The exact PhotoStrip Studio URL, project link or sufficient detail to locate the material.
- An explanation of why the use is unauthorised, including relevant registrations or source links where available.
- A good-faith statement that the information is accurate and the complained-of use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or law.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
3. Privacy and client links
Do not send passwords, unnecessary personal information or copies of sensitive identity documents. If the material is behind a client link, provide the link privately in the notice rather than publishing it. We may share the substance of a notice with the affected user so they can understand and respond to the claim.
4. Our response
We may request further information, preserve evidence, restrict a link, remove or disable content, notify the account holder or take no action where a notice is incomplete or does not establish a credible claim. Urgent action may be taken where continued availability creates clear legal or safety risk.
5. Counter-notice
An affected user may respond with identification of the removed material, the basis on which removal was mistaken or authorised, supporting evidence, contact details and a good-faith accuracy statement. We may restore material where legally appropriate, but are not required to adjudicate complex ownership disputes.
6. Repeat infringement
We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously infringe rights, taking account of credible notices, counter-notices, court orders, context and whether the user acted promptly to remedy the issue.
7. Misuse of this process
Do not knowingly submit false, misleading or abusive notices. A person making a notice is responsible for its accuracy and for losses caused by an unlawful misrepresentation. This process does not waive any right or defence available to PhotoStrip Studio or a user.
