Template Licence
The permitted business use of PhotoStrip Studio templates and the strict prohibition on resale or redistribution.
1. Licence grant
Subject to payment of applicable fees, an active entitlement and compliance with this licence, PhotoStrip Studio grants the purchasing account a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use the licensed template to create finished photo-booth designs and event outputs for that account’s own business and its direct clients.
2. Permitted use
- Customise text, colours, images, logos and layout for a client event.
- Use the template to create flattened print files, previews and supported booth-software packages.
- Deliver finished, event-specific outputs to the direct client for use at that event or within the agreed project.
- Retain reasonable working and backup copies for the licensed business while the licence remains valid, subject to any purchase-specific terms.
- Display finished work in the licensed business’s portfolio if client permissions allow it and the underlying template is not distributed.
3. No resale or redistribution
- Do not sell, resell, rent, sublicense, distribute, share, gift or transfer a template or source package.
- Do not upload a template or extractable asset to a marketplace, stock library, shared drive, membership, course, community or competing product.
- Do not provide editable or source template files to a client, contractor or another booth business unless a purchase-specific licence expressly permits it.
- Do not bundle a template with equipment, software, services or another product where the recipient can extract or reuse it as a template.
- Do not convert, trace or modify a template for the purpose of avoiding these restrictions.
4. Modified and derivative templates
A template remains protected after modification. Changes to colour, wording, composition, dimensions, effects, decorative elements or file format do not create a separately resellable template. You may own original content you add, but the PhotoStrip Studio template and identifiable licensed components remain subject to this licence.
5. Users, seats and contractors
The licence belongs to the purchasing account and business. Employees or contractors may work with a template only through authorised access for that business, under confidentiality and no-redistribution obligations, and solely to produce permitted finished work for the licensed business. They receive no independent licence and must delete local source copies when their work ends.
6. Client deliverables
A client may receive finished flattened output and a reasonable proof or platform package needed to operate the specific event. A client does not receive the right to extract, reuse, resell or distribute the underlying template. You must not describe the template itself as exclusively owned by the client unless PhotoStrip Studio has granted an exclusive written licence.
7. Third-party materials
Some templates may include or require third-party fonts, icons or software with their own licence terms. Notices supplied with a template must be retained where required. A PhotoStrip Studio licence does not grant rights that a third party has reserved.
8. Availability and compatibility
Template listings identify intended formats and platforms. You must verify each output in your actual production environment. Unless expressly stated, a structural export or setup guide is not a vendor certification or guarantee of compatibility with every software version, printer or workflow.
9. Licence duration and termination
A one-time template licence continues unless the listing states a subscription-only term or the licence is terminated for breach. Access to re-downloads, cloud editing, updates or premium features may require an active subscription. On termination for breach, you must stop using and delete template source files. Lawfully delivered flattened client outputs created before termination may continue to be used for their intended event.
10. Enforcement and contact
Unauthorised resale or distribution may cause harm that is difficult to remedy and may result in account termination, licence cancellation, takedown requests and legal action. Contact hello@photostripstudio.com before a proposed use if you are unsure whether it is permitted or need an extended licence.
